Top Players To Watch For, ISL7 Edition
by unknown · 2012-08-04
With the huge amount of new managers coming in to the game, this article's here to help you out! Confused by the ridiculous amount of players in this ISL? Well these are the players, in no particular order, that have a very good chance to win ISL7. Does that mean I'm a prediction bonjwa? Heck no. Odds are some dark horse will come out of no where and have a miracle run in the ISL. How should I know. I'm just Mind , a poor $306 salary future stud.
Anyways, here are the bosses that have made my list.
1. HidE - Hide is Sespa's number 1 ranked player, and rightfully so. He's a godly zerg, winning IRCSL 1 and being NB's anchor in proleague.
2. BIRDMAN - Birdman is Shakura's legend. The only player to win multiple ISLs, he recently achieved his 3rd championship. Even so, he's been looking less unstoppable as of late. That is, unless you're Protoss. His ridiculous 66-2 record against the men of Aiur is incredible.
3. Huskar - Percy... oh man. I had great hopes for you as a Royal Roader last time, but a massive choke stopped his warpath. Still, Percy has a chance to cement himself as the greatest Terran the game has ever seen. I expect a huge run out of Cesar's Ace.
4. Nal_rA - Nal_rA, the great Protoss hope. Incredibly skilled, and one of the few Protosses who can regularly take games off of Birdman in challenges. There has never been a Protoss Champion. But this ISL's finals will be in the fall. BELIEVE.
5. StaRbouNd - Consonance, the TvT king. Last ISL, he was knocked out via being put in a group with 3 good zergs. He eats Terrans for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I'm actually pretty sure he maphacks.
6. TORRES - Noble, last ISL's runner up. He has been having an incredible season, dominant in a very difficult Proleague, with only 2 losses in the teamleague. Is it his time?
7. Kolll - Kolll. Against ihchulk's wishes, I am including him. In my mind, he is the third best zerg in the world, and he has shown his great skill in IRCSL. But he is also an enigma. Nearly unbeatable in challenge matches, Kolll has a weird struggle when he steps into the booth. Look for him to get over his jitters.
8. Badger - Badger. The first player to pop an 11, he would easily be the number 1 ace on any team. Any team except Cesar's gang of Hooligans. His last 3 losses have been against Hide, Birdman, and Noble, three already mentioned players. He is a high caliber player, and look for him to show it.
9. FrOzean - Frozean. Forbenz's beast and Hide's training partner, Frozean has been involved in NB's many triumphs. He reached Ro4, and took Birdman to 5 games. His TvT looks shakey, but looks can be deceiving.
10. Tester - Tester. I thought over and over again if I should include him or not, but in the end, he's in the list. He's not the most skilled, or most experienced. But goodness, Tester wins. Tester wins and wins and wins. He should be able to troll his way in, crushing "better players".
Anyways, there were lots of players to choose out of. This was mostly my opinions, but Ascent, GTPGlitch, and Loneeee were all very helpful in narrowing down the list. Now watch as all of my predictions go wrong haha. Good luck everybody, and happy ISL for all!
